Ages 10+

Contemporary class heavily focuses on improvisation skills, utilizing a wide range of textures and qualities, and how to morph traditional classical and modern techniques into Contemporary movement. 

Placement for Contemporary classes is at the discretion of our VMSD Faculty. Dancers who are not yet at a level for Contemporary will be placed in a Modern class, as we use our Modern classes as a base for Contemporary.
